Tis the Season!
Christmas, being the happiest time of the year, tends to bring out the sap in me!
I started decorating! Not full blown, but I got my baby stuff up!
This is my "Baby Firsts" tree. These are all of the ornaments Chase and Olivia got as gifts for their first Christmases.
I slipped these off both of my babies when they were born, and made them into Christmas ornaments. If my house caught on fire, these would be among the first things i grabbed.
Both Chase and Olivia's baby booties; made them into ornaments as well. :)
I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

Halloween was the Bees Knees!
We had a WONDERFUL Halloween!
The whole Halloween Season has been great! We took the kids to a pumpkin patch, where they had a BLAST! And then came home, and painted pumpkins for the first time as a complete family. It was so much fun!
We decided to dress in a family costume. It started because I had the idea to dress Chase and Olivia in a matching type outfit. When I asked Chase what he wanted to be, he replied, "BumbleBee" (from Transformers). This got my mind turning, and I decided to dress Olivia as A bumble bee. Then, when looking for costumes for myself, with a bee idea in the back of mind, I kept seeing very cute bee costumes. I knew there was no way I could get Tony to dress up as a giant bee. Lol. So I came up with the idea for him to be our bee keeper.
I have to say, the whole thing turned out great, and I'm so glad we did it! Such a wonderful memory. :)
This was also Olivia's first year trick or treating. She loved picking candy out of dishes, and then holding it in her hand, until we got to the next house, where she would be distracted with a new candy bowl, and we could slip the other peice into her bag. There was one point where both Chase and Olivia stopped right on someone's door step, and started checking out the candy buckets. Lol. Chase could not wait to go home and eat his candy! He didn't quite understand the concept of getting more. Lol.
On Hallows Eve, Tony and I went to a party at my good friend's house. It was such a wonderful time, because so many of my great friends made appearances, which of course just makes the night.
Yes, Halloween 2010 was a great holiday for the Goods! :)

Pumpkin Painting
Our first time painting pumpkins as a family! So much fun, and such a great experience. Watching each of us create our own pumpkin was really cool. The kids loved it! Just sitting around the table and doing it all together was great! One of the biggest perks to them getting older.
This was Olivia's first time painting a pumpkin, and she is not the jump right in type, so it took some coaxing on our part. Lol. I think she loved watching all of us more than anything else. But she ended up with a girly little pumpkin, of pinks and purples, and I loved it! Tony painted a vampire on his, which I thought was very cool, and kinda cute. :)
Wonderful day, spent together! Can't wait to do it again next year!

Three Little Pumpkins
We had so much fun at the Pumpkin Patch!
The kids loved the petting zoo, and feeding the animals. We probably did that the longest! After that we went to the silly string zone, and the kids got eachother with it. Dad even got in on the fun! By the end they were covered in silly string, and Chase seemed to get it the worst. Lol. We did a few rounds of that, before heading over to the inflatable jumper. Once the kids were good and tuckered we headed inside to pick our pumpkins! Usually we let the kids paint and we carve, but this year we decided we are going to make it a big family activity, with Tony and I painting as well. I'm excited!
All in all, it was a great day! :)

Olivia's Baptism
This 4th of July we didn't just celebrate Independence Day, but also the Baptism of our daughter, Olivia.
We chose my sister and my husband's brother to be her God Parents.
Because my Brother-in-Law is in the Army, and lives in New York we had a very small window for when we could have Olivia Baptised with him present.
That is how we came to celebrate her Baptism on the 4th of July. The ceremony was beautiful and very special. It was very small with just our families there, as well as Chase's God Parents.

About Me
- Lovely Lindsay
- My name is Lindsay, and I am a very busy Mommy! I have a 6 year old little boy, an *almost* 4 year old little girl, and a 12 year old step-daughter. I am married to my first and only Love, and this past March we celebrated our 7th Wedding Anniversary. My family is my greatest accomplishment! I love Art, in all of its forms. I love painting, sketching, crafting, writing, doodling, scrap booking, even cake making, and of course photography. When I am not spending time with my kids, or my family, I love being with my friends. I cherish the relationships in my life above all else. I am a down to earth, happy go lucky, madly in love with life kinda gal! :)
